Trip Details

Rules and Regulations 

The trip is for the internal company use of Scripps’ advertisers or affiliates and cannot be transferred to any other party. The trip will begin and end in markets from which the advertiser qualified (referred to on the itinerary as “home cities”). If participants must leave from another city, Hoopla Travel Partners should be notified immediately. All flight deviations will be planned by Hoopla Travel Partners and surcharges/fare differences will be assessed directly to the participant. Please refer to the Transportation section for more details. All qualifiers may bring one guest. Participants and guests must be 21 years of age or older to take part in this program or travel. All accommodations are on a double/shared basis.

Final trip documents will be sent approximately two weeks prior to the August 22 departure.

Telluride observes Mountain Daylight Time. 



Daytime temperatures will range from the mid 70’s to high 60’s.

Evening temperatures will be in the low 40’s. 


What to Pack 

Comfortable attire is recommended for the flight. The mountains are all about layers as at times, the weather changes swiftly in the late afternoon and evenings.  A jacket, sweatshirt or sweater is recommended for evenings.

Medical Information 

This trip includes travel insurance for you and your guest, with medical emergency and evacuation coverage and some travel interruption, delay or cancellation benefits. Should a qualifying event occur requiring the redemption of funds related to travel interruption, delay or cancellation, we will require you and/or your guest to sign an Assignment of Benefits, transferring those benefits to E. W. Scripps. Copies of all purchase receipts must be submitted with any claims.

Items of a personal nature including laundry, mini-bar charges, other room incidentals, activities, spa treatments and meals not included in itinerary.  The Madeline Hotel requires a $200 credit card hold for incidentals.
