Activities

Choice of Activities: Day 2, Monday, August 23: 

  • Spa Treatment - Inspired by the alpine surroundings and the adventure–seekers who call Telluride home these expert therapists have specifically created nature-inspired therapies to revive and restore you. 

  • Golf – Telluride Golf Club is a private, members only club which we have gotten permission for afternoon play on. Telluride Golf Club is amongst the highest elevation golf courses in the world. Set atop Turkey Creek Mesa, tucked within the highest concentration of 13,000 and 14,000-foot peaks in the US, the 18-hole par 70, 6,546-yard course has stunning views guaranteed to take your breath away. 

  • Mountain Biking - Telluride is home to miles and miles of spectacular mountain biking trails, with some of the best mountain biking in the West!  Whether you are a first-timer, a seasoned expert, or somewhere in between, riders of all abilities can enjoy an unforgettable day on the trails with local guides helping to navigate the stunning scenic beauty while zipping down Galloping Goose trails. This activity is not recommended for customers with notable orthopedic issues. Recommend being in good physical condition.

  • Fly-Fishing – With some of the finest trout streams in the Rocky Mountains, and a variety of lakes, ponds and alpine creeks, Telluride is an angler’s paradise. Learn the waterways and surrounding terrain with the help of a local guide. 

  • Via Ferrata (Iron Walk) – This activity is for adventure thrill seekers! After an hour hike up a steep road past Bridal Veil Falls, the highest free-falling waterfall in Colorado, you will then start on the Via Ferrata portion of the hike/climb. You will then hike on a single-track trail with steel cables in various places to attach onto to ensure your safety. After a snack break, you will round the corner to the “Main Event” which is a 500 ft cliff that, after strapped into steel cables you will traverse on iron posts/holds across. This is your most awesome and proud moment, and the guide will take pictures to prove it! You will then do a combination of hiking and climbing with steel cables and posts for another hour and then down another steep, jeep road/trail for roughly 45 minutes.  This activity is not recommended for those with a severe fear of heights. Weight maximum 265 lbs.

  • Canopy Tour Hang out amongst the treetops and explore the National Forest via chairlift, 5 different zip lines, 2 aerial bridges and 2 repel stations over 140 feet off the ground. . Guests with the following medical conditions may not participate in this activity: (a) pregnant or think they may be pregnant, (b) heart condition, (c) seizure condition, (d) history of back or neck injury, or (e) any other medical condition that prevents guests from following the safety rules and guidelines. Height Max: 6'6" Weight Max: 250 lbs​​

  • 4x4’s to Imogene Pass / Tomboy Ghost Town - Ride in an open-air jeep up Imogene Pass, which climbs Tomboy Road from downtown Telluride to a summit of over 13,100.  Experience Telluride’s fabulous high country while learning the history of one of the world’s most famous and notorious gold rush towns etched in the San Juan Mountains a hundred years ago.  This tour combines thrilling adventure, fascinating mining history and once in a lifetime scenery feet. This activity is not recommended for customers with notable orthopedic issues or other conditions that would make a 4 hour tour on bumpy roads inadvisable.
